Bridal hair and styling is the highest-stakes booking on your wedding day timeline — there's no room for a redo. Here's how to plan it properly, from first inquiry to the big day.
How far in advance should I book?
Book your salon slot for the wedding date itself 6-12 months out, especially for weekend dates during Cebu's peak wedding season. Your hair/makeup trial, separately, should happen 8-12 weeks before the wedding — close enough that your hair length and color match what you'll actually have on the day, far enough out that there's time to adjust if something isn't right. For the full breakdown on trial timing specifically, see our [bridal hair trial booking guide](/tips/bridal-hair-trial-booking-timing).
What's actually included in a bridal package?
Our three tiers cover different scopes:
| Package | Includes | Best for |
| Bride Solo | Pre-wedding trial, big-day hair & makeup, reception touch-up kit | Bride only, no entourage styling needed |
| Bride + Entourage | Bride hair & makeup, entourage hair & makeup, coordinated on-site timing | Bride plus bridesmaids, mothers, sponsors |
| Full Event Package | Everything above, plus manicure & pedicure for the party, priority date scheduling | Full bridal party wanting one coordinated team |
Every tier includes a pre-wedding trial and on-site, on-schedule styling — the two things that matter most for a day with zero room for delays.
Should I get my hair colored or straightened before the wedding?
If you're considering a color change, do it well before the trial — not the week of, since color needs time to settle and be assessed properly at the trial itself. If you're considering a permanent straightening treatment like Rebond Xtenso or Nano Protein Straight, timing matters even more: see our [full straightening-before-your-wedding timeline guide](/tips/rebond-before-your-wedding-timeline) for exactly when to schedule it.
What happens at the trial?
The trial is a full run-through of your chosen hairstyle (and makeup, if included) at close to full length/time, so you can see it in person, take photos in different lighting, and request adjustments — all with enough runway left to make real changes before the day itself. Bring reference photos, your veil or hairpiece if you have one, and photos of your dress neckline, since necklines change what styles will actually look balanced.
What about nails for the big day?
A [Gel Manicure](/services/gel-manicure) is the standard choice for bridal parties — it holds up through the full day (photos, the reception, dancing) without chipping the way regular polish can. Book it a day or two before, not the morning of, so there's zero fuss on the wedding day itself.
How does day-of scheduling actually work?
For Bride + Entourage or Full Event packages, one team works through the full bridal party on a coordinated schedule, timed backward from your ceremony call time, so no one is rushed and the bride is finished with buffer room before photos begin. This is arranged in detail at your trial, not improvised on the day.
How do I start?
Message us with your date and estimated headcount for a custom quote — every wedding's timeline and scope is different, so pricing is confirmed after a short conversation about what you need rather than fixed online. See our [full package details](/bridal-events) for more.
